Altered Life has to be one of the most favorite songs I have had the privelage of recording. I have known Marty for many years. I am thankful and greatful to the lord for him allowing me to record his songs. This song has brought so much meaning to mine and my wife's life. As we travel full-time throughout the United States, we have had encountered so many homeless people and those who were addicted. We firmly believe that the lord placed these people in our paths to share the message of hope, that Jesus loves them and he wants to show them there is an "Altered Life" for them.

We never forsake the opportunity to speak with them and share this joy and hope. How this song has brought so much light and meaning. Surely, there is an Altered Life for all of us and it is through Jesus Christ.

At that time, a preacher, who had a five minute radio program was just beginning. The radio was not turned on to this station, it was just turned on. The preacher was preaching of Paul and Silas and the situation they were in while imprisoned, yet, they praised the lord and sung out praises to him. Ron immediately realized his problems were nothing compared to what Paul and Silas days. The lord gave Ron this song.
