Adam was taken by that which he took. You will be taken by that which you take. Whatever you extend the arm to, whatever you open the mind to, whatever you take into your spirit will take you. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And thepeace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 

Thankful for this promise! However it is conditional. Very much comparable to the whole armor of God that we, shouldn't leave home without.
